JUDGING PROCESS
Judges will bring their professional experience and unique perspectives in deciding which companies deserve top-ranks and coveted awards in each category. Judges will review the submissions, and rate the work against provided criteria through a private, online system. Online judging will take place from 3 November 2025 - 2 January 2026. With 21 judges on the panel, we aim to keep all judging decisions confidential, non-partisan, and anonymous. Judging will not take place in a group setting, to avoid any conversation among judges. Judges also will not be allowed to participate in judging for categories in which they may know nominees. Employees of the Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce are not on the judging committee and have no say in the outcome of judging events, however will step in to fix issues that may arise or remove judges from certain categories if they show to have any connection to nominees in that category.
Judges are comprised of likeminded, business focused, individuals and locally elected officials at varying levels of government, as well as individuals who do a lot of community engagement.
